Job Title: Clinical Implementation Specialist Reports To: Director Of Corporate Training
Overview The Clinical Implementation Specialist is a key position within the MedLink team and is responsible for project planning, customization, and implementation of new practice management systems and/or electronic health records systems. The CIS will deliver a full suite of electronic medical record solutions to the provider community throughout the United States and will require extensive travel
Specific Duties
- Assist practices in implementing electronic solutions, such as practice management, billing, and electronic medical record systems.
- Develop clinical workflows and process improvement recommendations.
- Customize software based on established practice needs.
- Conduct go-live training at customer locations.
- Mentor new Clinical Implementation Specialists.
- Other duties as assigned and/or required.
Required Skills
- Ability to travel 80% of the time.
- Experience working in a clinical environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to train end users on the functionality of medical software.
- Excellent customer service and computer skills.
- Must be flexible and have the ability to remain professional under high pressure situations.
Preferred Skills
- Experience implementing healthcare practice management or electronic health care systems.
- Project related work in a healthcare environment.
